Description
One Amazing Headset
If you're looking for a wireless headset that connects to all your devices, gives you professional sound quality and long wireless range, then here's a headset you need to check out.
What comes in the box
When you order a Jabra Engage 75 mono headset, this is what it comes with.
What it connects to
This is one of the many areas that help the Jabra Engage 75 stereo headset stand out in the crowd.
The vast majority of wireless headsets today connect to two devices simultaneously. Typically, this is connection to a computer, and to a mobile device.
The Jabra Engage 75 connectrs to 5 devices simul;ataneously, which gives you far more connection options. You can have 2 USB connections (softphone, or deskphone), 2 Bluetooth and 1 Analog phone connections simultaneously. That helps to make switching between them extremely convenient, and versatility you won't find on other headsets.
Variants - choose your style
One size doesn't fit all, and you probably have your own personal preference as to your preferred headset wearing style.
The Jabra Engage 75 comes in three different versions so you can select the model that's right for you;
- Double ear
- Single ear
- Convertible model that gives you several included wearing styles that you can switch between.
Expanding your reach
How would you like wireless range that's four times longer than typical wireless headsets? No dream here, just pure reality because longer wireless range comes standard with the Jabra Engage 75
Wireless headsets these days will typically give you up to 100 feet of wireless talk range. Jabra, with the Engage 75 ups the game by giving you four times that amount. The Engage 75 is rated up to 490 feet, or 150 meters. Just think of the different ways you could use this headset with that much wireless talk range.
- Go to the far end of your office
- Go upstairs, or outside if you work from home
- Go to the office lunchroom to pour yourself another cup of coffee
- Walk out into the warehouse to check on a shipment, or inventory.
All while you're on a call.
Do Not Disturb
That's what the Jabra Engage 75 busylilght says.
Nobody likes to be interrupted when on a call, especially calls that are important. With the integrated busy lights located on the headset earpiece, and the end of the microphone, coworkers, and family members will know when you're on a call.
Touchscreen built into the base - point, touch, execute
The Jabra Engage 75 has an easy access, built in touchscreen for accessing headset features and functiionality.
Feel free to talk all day, and then some
When you have a busy day planned, the last thing you need is a wireless headset with a battery that can't keep up. That can leave you not only wanting more battery power, but no use of your headset during a portion of your workday.
The Jabra Engage 75 has a battery that delivers up to 13 hours of talk time. That means you can talk all day, and even into the next before a battery recharge is needed.
Added bonus - use the headset even when charging
As an added bonus, you'll be happy to know that you can continue using the headset even when the battery is plugged in for a recharge. So you don't have to wait for the battery to finish charging before you get back to using the headset.
Other headsets keep you waiting, but the Jabra Engage 75 keeps you talking
Volume that you set, and forget - Engage does the rest
It can be inconvenient, not to mention a bit annoying, to have to keep adjusting the headset hearing volume in order to keep it at your preferred listening level. Jabra thought about that when they designed the Engage 75, because you can set the volume to where you like, and then not have to think about that for the rest of the day.
Simply set the volume to your desired level, and the Engage 75 takes over from there. What you get is a steady volume level throughout the day. And doesn't that beat the constant need to adjust the volume you hear?
Security that goes above and beyond
If you work in Healthcare, Finance, Government or other areas of business where confidentiality, and secure conversations are important, then you'll be happy to hear what you get with the Jabra Engage 75.
You can have sensitive conversations with the condience knowing your calls are secure. Peace of mind comes in many forms, and having secure conversations is one of them.
Adjust, Personalize, and Manage from your desktop
Jabra Direct is a free software download that allows you to personalize your headset to make it perfect for your preferences.
And if you're an IT professional who has the responsibility of managing devices for a team of people, then you'll be happy to know you can manage the enterprise right from your desktop. Firmware updates, troubleshooting, and a host of other helpful features are available easily, and conveniently at your fingertips.
UC Compatibility
When considering a new headset, you want to be sure that it's compatible with the system you're using. Rest assured that the Jabra Engage 75 will work just fine with your UC application.
Below is a small sampling of the different UC platforms compatible with the Engage 75.
So whether it's a Softphone, video, mobile, or deskphone call you have scheduled, the Engage 75 is ready, willing and able to get you through a busy workday clearly, comfortably and reliably.
Where the Engage 75 comes up short
No headset is perfect, and the Engage 75 is no different in that sense. Here's a few things to keep in mind as you ponder pulling the trigger on buying the Jabra Engage 75.
- When you buy the Engage 75 stereo model, you don't get Active Noise Cancellation. ANC, as its known, has become an increasingly common standard feature on premium headsets. But unfortunately, you won't be getting that feature when you plunk down the cash to buy this headset.
- You don't get a HearThrough feature which allows you to keep your headset on, and still have a face-to-face personal conversation. The alternative, which is what you get with the Engage 75, is the need to remove the headset to talk to someone, or hear your surroundings.
- Audio for music is, well, so-so. In all fairness, this headset wasn't designed to be a Bose or Sony Killer when it comes to music audio quality. The truth is, its primary purpose centers around business use, so I can't knock it too badly here. But, with that said, this is something to keep in mind before parting ways with four crisp Benjamins.
All in all, the Jabra Engage 75 is an incredible headset. It has excellent sound quality, it's very lightweight and comfortable, it connects to 5 devices simultaneously, it has a nice integrated touchscreen in the base, and the list goes on. But, for the price, I'd expect to have a bit better ear speaker sound quality, Active Noise Cancellation, and HearThrough.
Where you buy matters
There are fundamental differences between buying your headsets from companies that don't specialize in headsets from those that do.
