Jabra Evolve2 Buds For Hybrid Work

I have the Evolve2 earbuds paired to the link USB dongle in my workstation computer and over bluetooth to my phone. It does great switching between the two devices allowing seamless use between my workstation and phone. That alone has been a great quality of life improvement. The quality of Teams calls is great. I had an issue with low volume on my first pair of earbuds but Headset Advisor customer service helped me through the RMA process to get a new pair that has been working great. Overall I am satisfied with the Evolve2 buds product and Headset Advisor service.

I purchased two sets of the buds. Out of the box, one set works great and the other set is intermittent. When it isn't working, I can barely hear the caller and they can barely hear me. It sounds like I'm in a tunnel and the phone is 20 feet away from me. I reached out to support, and they recommended that we try an update. The issue has still occurred a couple of times since the update, but most recently I've been able to get them to work. I will continue to monitor and may edit my rating in the future if they continue to work properly.

I had to send in my Evolve2 85's for warranty repair. I was looking for an alternative to a full blown headset. When I saw the Evolve2 earbud model, I thought I had a winner on my hands.

To me this is an Elite 7 Pro without any of the good updates with a Link 380. The hear through is really awesome. The ANC is abysmal and I'm sure we'll improve significantly with the updates.

The nose cancelling without Teams or Zoom nose cancelling backing you up leaves a lot to be desired.

The only thing that saves it from 3 stars is the Link 380. This is the gravy that saves this turkey.

Once I replaced the silicon ear tips with comply foam, these became great for content consumption. And they are also comfortable to wear for a couple hours of calls. Listening back to teams recordings, the buds pick up my voice with surprising clarity - even when I speak softly.

My wife is loving these. They are brand new so I cannot speak to durability. The online reviews of these buds seem to show that the noise cancellation through the mic is not the best but they do a decent job. The convenience of buds vs a full headset, the product quality and the reliability of the dongle vs bluetooth makes these buds a good option in my opinion.
