The Yealink BH71 is one of the most powerful Bluetooth wireless headsets we've ever reviewed before because of the new Workstation base it allows one headset to connect to computer, desk phone, and smartphones while also having a wireless charger, 3 USB hub, 3" color touchscreen, and a full speakerphone.
There are 4 models to choose from depending on your work environment:
4-Beam Forming Microphones for 90% Noise Reduction
The Yealink BH71 has 4 microphones built in to isolate your voice from all the surrounding background noise so people your talking to can hear your voice clearly and not all the dogs barking in the background.
10 Hours of Talk-Time
For a headset that only weighs 18 grams it has a surprising 10 hours of continuous talk-time so the battery is long enough to last a full working day and when you add the pro charging case you get 2 additional full recharges giving you a total of 30 hours of talk time.
The new adjustable speaker on the Yealink BH71 allows you to find the perfect fit to make the headset comfortable for all day as if you didn't even have a headset on.
Yealink BH71 Review Video
Ok, so nothing's perfect but after trying literally EVERY headset solution out there. It's PERFECT for me! I bought a Jabra Engage 55 mono from Headset Advisor which I love for in office calls and an Evolve 65 mono that's great as well. I travel for work to multiple offices for my company as well as work from home. I travel light and have been looking for a better portable headset solution. The over the ear headsets aren't that bad to travel with but being a minimalistic traveler, I couldn't travel with them. I'm on a noisy sales floor and have tried using airpod pro's and literally every other earbud (Jabra Evolve2 Buds), etc... and of course unfair to the earbud solution but they are terrible in very noisy environments. Nothing beats a boom mic. I've tried the Shokz bone conductor too and they're good but I don't like the aesthetic. I've almost bought the Poly 5200 a few times and while I'm sure it's a great competitor to the BH71, the travel case is too large for what I'm looking for and ... microusb is so 1999. Enter the BH71 with the workstation. I mean, for me. Perfect. I love the speaker on it and the wireless charging dock, my work desk is much neater now. I love being able to quickly move the call to speaker mode on the workstation as it's useful for the sales calls/trainings I do. The carry case for the yealink is unbelievably small. I'm overly happy with this headset because I have spent SO much time and money trying to find a solution close to this and nothing has ever come close. I was looking forward to the Poly Free60's but they look expensive and unless there's some insane voice/mic technology in them, they're probably going to be limited because they're an earbud. I still keep my Jabra Engage 55 close because the range is much longer with DECT tech and it does sound a little better than the BH71, but the BH71 is awesome. As I said, I'm sure there are things that aren't perfect about this headset for certain people, but for me it's awesome.
