Poly Voyager 5200 UC Bluetooth Headset With BT700

We have been using Plantronics headsets exclusively, for 40 years. Until now, they have always been the best headsets on the market and Plantronics always provided outstanding USA-based customer service. This 5200 is physically flimsy and no longer intuitive to use. The battery self-discharges when the headset is powered off. The talk time and standby time is just a lie. Shame on HP for ruining a great brand.
Our perfectly good Voyager Legend headsets stopped working so we tried updating the software. There is no update available. When we finally reached Customer Service, a person who barely spoke English informed us that they no longer provide support for the product because it is "out-of-date."

I bought the device in 2023.

1. The main issue is that the microphone's noise cancellation works in an unpredictable manner. My teammates say my sound is intermittent, and some words fall out.
2. The Micro-USB socket on the charging case is too deep; not every cable is able to charge it.
3. After several months, the headset stopped charging from the case; the indicator always shows that the headset is charged.

I had the Poly Voyager back when it was Plantronics, and I thought there would be something better now, hands-free to answer but I didn't find it yet. You can't be the quality and convenience of the Voyager. Still a satisfied customer with it!

Regardless of the size of the ear tip. The ear does not stay in well and you see yourself fidgeting constantly trying to get it closer to the ear

Excellent sound quality and good software compatibility with all soft phones. However, MS Teams still takes over the headset and makes the cell connection unusable unless one changes the PC default mic to its internal mic. This is true even with the Jabra software. One downside about the headset is the design can be difficult to wear for those who wears glasses.

great noise cancelling. have had no problems getting through to the talkeee. seems I am loud and clear where ever I am at. Like the charging station. real handy.
