Yealink continues to roll out new headsets to add to their already expansive line of business and casual use headsets. The latest model to join the lineup is the new Yealink BH74 wireless Bluetooth headset.

The Yealink BH74 connects to computers, business phones and mobile devices. It comes with a USB-A and USB-C adapter for connection to computers and compatible phones, and it features Bluetooth version 5.3 for the latest in mobile device connectivity.
You can connect up to 8 devices, 2 simulatenously.

Variants
You have four different variants to choose from.
- BH74 Teams with USB-C/A
- BH74 UC with USB-C/A
- BH74 with stand (Teams version) with USB-C/A
- BH74 with stand (UC version) with USB-C/A
Some prefer to recharge the battery via a charge cable, while others prefer to have a stand to dock the headset, and recharge it. Either way, you have the option. And if you use Microsoft Teams as your main UC communication platform, then you’ll want the Teams version for a seamless user experience. Otherwise, the UC variant would be the best choice.
Battery Specs
The Yealink BH74 comes with a long life battery that provides the following:
- Up to 32 hours of talk time with ANC and busy light off
- Up to 65 hours of listening time w/o ANC
- 45 minutes of listening time after 5 minutes charging
- Charges via the included cable, or optional charge stand
- 90 minutes for a full charge
- 20 days of battery standby
So whether you work in an office, at home, or on the go, the Yealink BH74 will keep the conversations flowing, while other headsets will have you recharging.
Wireless Range
Yealink estimates the wireless talk range on the BH74 to be 50 meters, or 164 feet. Your actual range may vary from this estimate based on your work environment. Brick walls, obstructions, and other factors can weaken the wireless signal, which in turn can shorten the range. Still, this is an excellent range for a non-DECT headset.
Comfort Features
The Yealink BH74 was designed to be comfortable for all-day wearing. For those who spend the day on calls, the BH74 will be a welcome addition to your office tools.
Weighs just 5.3 ounces - makes it light for a double ear headset. Lighter weight directly affects comfort.
Float-On-Air fully padded headband - designed to evenly distribute the pressure across the headband for added comfort. The headband is adjustable allowing you to find the sizing that’s right for you.
Memory foam ear cushions - with pedal shaped vents that help dissipate heat. This adds to breathability, and overall comfort. The memory foam conforms to the shape and angle of your ears for a personalized fit.
Adjustable rotating ear speakers - like the headband, the ear speakers can be adjusted for the angle right for you giving you a custom, comfortable fit.

Microphone
The Yealink BH74 comes with a set of 4 premium grade microphones, and Acoustic Shield 3.0 technology with voice isolation algorithm. Together, these features deliver a professional sound even in noisy environments. So if you’re on important calls, and the noise elevates, rest assured your callers won’t become distracted by it.
Passive / Active Noise Cancellation
The BH74 has specially designed ear speakers and cushions that are designed to passively remove, or filter out unwanted noise. Add to that, the BH74 comes equipped with Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation as a countermeasure for intrusive noise. Regaining your focus once distracted can take time. So when noise begins to rise, the BH74 provides you with the tools to avoid being distracted by it. Noisy coworkers? Dogs barking? Children clamoring for your attention?
