Description
The Yealink W59R Pro is an IP67 ruggedized add-on handset with Bluetooth 5.2, a vibration alarm and lone-worker safety alarms, and it needs a compatible Yealink DECT base: the W70B, or a W75, W80 or W90 multi-cell system. It suits warehouses, factories, hospitals and other harsh or hazardous sites. Compared with the W57R it adds full IP67 water protection, a larger screen, Bluetooth and man-down alarms, while the W57R offers longer battery life.
Key features
- IP67 protection: Protected against dust ingress and stated to survive immersion in water up to 1 m (3.3 ft) deep for up to 30 minutes, plus falls of up to 2 m (6.6 ft).
- Lone-worker safety alarms: Push-button, no-movement, man-down and running alarms with an integrated G-sensor. Admins can set alarm types per user, and emergency calls are sent automatically.
- Bluetooth 5.2: Pair a Bluetooth headset and keep both hands free on the factory or warehouse floor.
- Push-to-Talk key: Four side keys, including a dedicated alarm key and a Push-to-Talk key.
- Large color screen: 2.4" 240 x 320 TFT color screen with caller ID and a notification light.
- Built for cleaning: Antibacterial design that is scratch-resistant and disinfectant-resistant.
- Roaming on multi-cell systems: Works with the W70B single-cell base and W75/W80/W90 multi-cell systems, with call handover and roaming between bases.

Range and battery figures are Yealink's "in ideal conditions" numbers, and some handsets list two figures for different hardware versions (V0 to V4).
