Description
The Yealink W80 is a DECT multi-cell system for organizations that need cordless coverage beyond the reach of a single base station. It is built from two parts sold on this page: the W80B base station, which provides the radio coverage handsets connect to, and the W80DM DECT Manager, where you configure and manage the whole system. One system supports up to 30 base stations, 100 handsets and 100 simultaneous calls, with call handover and roaming as staff move between bases.

Key features
- How the system fits together: A W80 system needs a W80DM DECT Manager plus W80B base stations. You configure and manage the entire multi-cell system from the DECT Manager's web portal, and add W80B bases to cover each area of your site.
- Scales to 30 bases: Up to 30 base stations, 100 handsets, 100 SIP accounts and 100 simultaneous calls per system. Each base carries up to 8 wideband calls (4 active handsets) or 8 narrowband calls.
- Handover and roaming: Bases sync over the air, so calls continue as users walk from one base's coverage zone to the next.
- Base backup: If the Level 1 base goes offline, another base takes over as the backup Level 1 base within one minute, so the system keeps running.
- Simple setup: On a multicast network the system builds itself once bases are powered and connected. On non-multicast networks, enter the DECT Manager's IP address in each base's web interface. The Yealink Deployment ToolKit helps plan base locations.
- Handset updates without downtime: No Perception Upgrade updates W73H, W78H, W57R and W59R handsets within two minutes while they stay in normal use.
- Wide device support: Works with W56H, W53H, W57R, W59R, W73H, W78H, CP930W, CP935W and DD Phone, and supports WH62/WH63 DECT headset registration.

Specs are Yealink's, from its current data sheets. Systems show the handset in the box. Range and battery figures are Yealink's "in ideal conditions" numbers, and some handsets list two figures for different hardware versions (V0 to V4). "None listed" means the data sheet names no such feature. Compare all W Series models
