Description
The Yealink W90 is Yealink's large-scale DECT multi-cell system for sites that need cordless coverage across big or multiple buildings, such as warehouses, hospitals, hotels, supermarket chains and car dealerships. It is built from two parts sold on this page: the W90B base station, with rotatable external antennas for wider coverage, and the W90DM DECT Manager, which runs the system. One DECT Manager supports up to 60 base stations, 250 handsets and 250 simultaneous calls.
Key features
- How the system fits together: A W90 system uses one W90DM DECT Manager plus W90B base stations. The DECT Manager runs the system, and W90B bases provide the radio coverage that handsets roam between.
- Scales to 60 bases: Up to 60 base stations, 250 handsets, 250 SIP accounts and 250 simultaneous calls per system. Each base carries up to 8 wideband calls (4 active handsets) or 8 narrowband calls.
- External antennas: Rotatable external antennas extend signal range and can be aimed into hard-to-cover areas, which can reduce the number of bases you need.
- Air and LAN sync: Bases sync over the air and over the LAN. LAN sync keeps roaming stable where signals are poor or crowded, such as warehouses full of cargo or areas with iron gates.
- Faster deployment: The DECT Deployment Toolkit helps place bases, an IP discovery tool finds the DECT Manager's IP address, and auto sync level builds the network without manual steps.
- Multiple phone books: Local directory, remote phonebook, LDAP and XML phonebook, plus XSI directory and call log for compatible PBX platforms.
- Secure calling: SRTP, SIPS, TLS, LDAPS and HTTPS, with DECT encryption over the air.

Specs are Yealink's, from its current data sheets. Systems show the handset in the box. Range and battery figures are Yealink's "in ideal conditions" numbers, and some handsets list two figures for different hardware versions (V0 to V4). "None listed" means the data sheet names no such feature. Compare all W Series models
