Poly Savi 8245-UC Wireless Headset System For Computer - 7W6D1AA#ABA

I like this headset. I use the "over the head" arrangement. It's light and comfortable all day, fits well and doesn't come off when I wander around the house and do random chores while I'm on long calls. The range covers my entire house and down the driveway maybe 70 feet. The sound is great on my end, and the noise cancellation is good enough that I can can run water and wash dishes and the person on the other end of the line can't hear it. I haven't tested it with louder things, but my W740 screened out the noise of a guy tearing out my stairs behind a glass door 15 feet away. Amazing. I haven't measured this directly but it feels like I get less battery life than the W740. I used to get through an entire day with the headset on and off the charger with the W740, and I have to change the battery on this one once a day. Fortunately it comes with a second battery, so that's not an issue. I like that fact that it's wireless to the laptop, as it's easier to travel with it. Important note: I have a Microsoft Surface with one USB C port and I have my mouse dongle in that, so I had to buy a little splitter for the port to use both. Seems to work fine. I like that it comes with a travel case, though I haven't used it just yet.
