To complement the recent introduction of the BH74 Bluetooth wireless headset, Yealink just released its wired counterpart in the new UH48 double ear model. And though there are differences between these two models, the single biggest difference is simply it’s a wired version of the BH74.

Who The UH48 Is Designed For
The Yealink UH48 double ear wired headset is designed for those who have a need for computer connectivity. It comes with a USB-C connector, and USB-A adapter, so no matter which type of USB port you have, the Yealink UH48 will plug in right out of the box.

Muting the microphone is easy, and can be done two ways;
- Press the mute button on the microphone boom
- Raise the microphone boom to mute, lower it to unmute
Silencing Your Surroundings
Most would agree that noise is bothersome, and it can interfere with our concentration. And when distracted, it can take awhile to regain focus. To help combat the many challenges associated with unwanted background noise, Yealink designed the UH48 to deliver a quieter, more focus centric headset wearing experience.
Ear cup design. The ear cups have been specially designed to passively remove noise. The design of the earpiece, and the materials used, are your first line of defense against noise.
Hybrid ANC. The UH48 includes the premium feature of hybrid Active Noise Cancellation. Hybrid ANC goes further than the traditional ANC feature found on many headsets. It provides external as well as internal microphones for a higher level of noise reduction for better focus and productivity.
Speakers
The Yealink UH48 comes with 30mm loudspeakers with bio-composite diaphragms for a pleasing listening experience. Additionally, it allows you to fine tune the audio characteristics through the audio EQ settings found on the Yealink connect app. We all have our own preferences when it comes to sound, and the UH48 lets you adjust the sound that’s right for you.
Comfort Features
The Yealink UH48 was designed to be comfortable for all-day wearing. For those who spend the day on calls, the UH48 will be a welcome addition to your office tools.
Weight. The UH48 was designed to be comfortable for all day wearing starting with its weight, which is the first thing to consider when it comes to comfort. It weighs 169 grams, or 5.9 ounces. Some double ear headsets weigh as much as 10 ounces, or more, which makes the UH48 about right for a headset of this type, and not heavy.
Float-On-Air fully padded headband - designed to evenly distribute the pressure across the headband for added comfort. Wherever the band touches your head, it’s met with padding for a comfortable feel. The headband is also adjustable allowing you to find the sizing that’s right for you.
Memory foam ear cushions - with pedal shaped vents that help dissipate heat. This adds to breathability, and overall comfort. The memory foam conforms to the shape and angle of your ears for a personalized fit. The cushion cover is made from a hydrolysis-resistant material to resist sweat, clean easily, and maintain its looks.
Pivoting ear speakers. For a personalized fit, the ear speakers pivot and adapt to the shape, and angle of your ears. So rather than having your ears adapt to the headset, the headset adapts to the shape of your ears.
Adjustable rotating ear speakers - like the headband, the ear speakers can be adjusted for the angle right for you giving you a custom, comfortable fit.
When you combine the adjustability of the headband, the speakers, memory foam ear cushions, and the weight of the BH74, you’ll find this to be a headset that’s comfortable, and one that can be worn all day.

The Yealink UH48 comes with a bright LED busy light on both sides. It lights up when on a call so others around you can know when you’re busy.
