Description
The Yealink W79P Pro pairs the W70B base station with the W59R Pro, an IP67 ruggedized handset with Bluetooth 5.2, a 2.4" color screen and safety alarms. It suits warehouses, factories, hospitals and other demanding sites where staff need a tough phone and lone-worker protection. Compared with the W79P, it adds a larger 2.4" screen, Bluetooth 5.2, a Push-to-Talk key and an antibacterial body.
Key features
- IP67, drop and immersion rated: The W59R Pro handset is rated IP67 and is stated to survive a 2 m (6.6 ft) fall and immersion in water up to 1 m (3.3 ft) deep for 30 minutes.
- Safety alarms: Push-button, no-movement, man-down and running alarms, using an integrated G-sensor. Administrators can set different alarm types per user, and emergency calls go out automatically.
- Larger screen than the W79P: 2.4" 240 x 320 TFT color screen, versus 1.8" on the W79P's W59R handset.
- Bluetooth and Push-to-Talk: Built-in Bluetooth 5.2 for hands-free headsets, plus a dedicated Push-to-Talk side key.
- Built for cleaning: Antibacterial design that is scratch-resistant and disinfectant-resistant.
- Grows to 10 handsets: Register up to 10 W59R Pro handsets with up to 10 SIP accounts and 20 simultaneous calls on one base.
- Easy to roll out: Supports Yealink RPS (Redirection and Provisioning Service) and auto-provisioning via TFTP/FTP/HTTP/HTTPS with PnP, so IT can set up phones without manual configuration on each one.

Specs are Yealink's, from its current data sheets. Systems show the handset in the box. Range and battery figures are Yealink's "in ideal conditions" numbers, and some handsets list two figures for different hardware versions (V0 to V4). "None listed" means the data sheet names no such feature. Compare all W Series models
