Prefer a headband tomorrow? Double check. No matter which wearing style you choose, you'll find all of them to be amazingly lightweight and comfortable.
Battery
Up to 7 hours of battery on a single charge. To recharge the battery, simply place the headset into the docking station.
And for those who need more battery life, you can consider the 8245 model that comes with a spare battery, and integrated battery charge compartment for unlimited talk time.
Wireless Range
The Poly Savi 8240 Office headset is rated up to 450 feet of wireless talk range, you'll have plenty of range to keep the conversation going, but do keep in mind that actual usable range is generally less than the stated range. Range tests are done using line of sight, or open field testing methods which do not include any obstructions. Cutting the stated range in half will give you a more reasonable range projection.
Microphone
When you're on important voice or video calls, you need professional sound. The Savi 8240 delivers rich voice audio, but it doesn't stop there. The microphone also removes unwanted background noise allowing your callers to remain focused on your message, and not the noise going on in your background.
Conferencing
One of the nice features that's standard on the Poly Savi 8240 Office is it's ability to conference up to four headsets. This makes training easier, and provides the ability for several people to collaborate together on projects, while not needing to be gathered in a conference room.
Warranty
You're covered with a two-year warranty for peace of mind. So if you have any issues during this 2-year period, you're covered directly through Poly.

- UC - This version is compatible with any computer software it does not have Microsoft capabilities built into headset.
- Microsoft - This version is pre-installed with Microsoft software so it will work out of the box with Microsoft Lync or Microsoft Teams.
