With very limited choices of a noise canceling headset that works with a desk phone, we were excited to see the creation of the Plantronics Savi 8220.

"The headset was purchased for the ability to use as a multi-purpose device between Skype for business on the computer as well as answering a desk phone. The heads that was ordered with an adapter to allow for the electronic hook on the desk phone and could not have asked it to work better. Headset is very comfortable with great quality in sound as well as noise cancellation. Battery life is decent but if you use the phone for support call the entire day you might find it to be a little short."

#2 Plantronics Savi W720

The Plantronics Savi W720 was discontinued and replaced by the Savi 8220, but is still a very good choice to consider, for a noise canceling headset to connect with your desk phone, computer and mobile phone. There should be stock for quite some time of new and certified refurbished options, and should save you money compared to the Savi 8220. That being said, the Savi W720 rests on both ears, but won't fully enclose your ears, so if you're in an extremely loud office, this headset may not be the right fit for you.

#3 Sennheiser SDW 5066

The Sennheiser SDW 5066 is another wireless noise-canceling headset that will connect to your desk phone, computer, and mobile phone. But, similar to the Plantronics Savi W720, this headset won't fully enclose your ears and might not provide enough noise cancellation in loud call center phones and headsets environments.

If your main concern is blocking out noise in your office that callers would otherwise hear, the SDW 5066 is one to highly consider, especially for blocking noise with call center phones and headsets. With super wideband audio and an ultra noise canceling microphone, background chatter a caller would otherwise hear would be highly reduced.
