5 Best Wireless Work From Home Headsets 2025

The rise of remote work has made high-quality headsets an essential tool for busy professionals. With so many headset options available, choosing the right one can be a very challenging experience.

Which one sounds the best? Which one is compatible with the system in use? What does it connect to? How well does it remove background noise? Will I sound professional when on calls, or will my callers hear the noise going on around me? How much wireless range does it provide? The list of questions can be extensive, and the list of answers is likely to be less.

Our company, Headset Advisor, has been assisting customers with their communication needs since 1994. We represent the major headset brands, as well as some models not as well known, but offer some excellent options to consider.

In this blog, I’ll provide you with 5 of the best wireless work from home headsets. And if you’re someone who works remotely, then you know how challenging it can be to have a high quality call when there’s so much background noise to compete with.

Hopefully this blog will help point you in the right direction, or at the very least, help to narrow down the enormous amount of options available for you to consider. And at the end of this blog, if you still haven’t found the headset that’s right for you, then make sure to contact us, and one of our friendly, and knowledgeable Advisors will be happy to help.

The 5 headsets we’re recommending that you consider include:

  2. Yealink WH64
  3. Yealink BH71 Pro
  4. Shokz Opencomm 2 UC
  5. Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex

We’re not placing these in any kind of order, such as number 1, number 2 and so on. Instead, we’re highlighting these models as being solid choices, and among the very best available today.  With that said, let’s take a closer look at these models, and what helps to make them worth your time to consider.

1. EPOS Impact 1000

EPOS Impact 1000

The headband is nicely padded, and it adjusts so you can find the fit that’s right for you. The ear cushions are also nicely padded, and the ear speakers rotate so the speakers match the angle of your ears. 2. Yealink WH64

Yealink WH64 mono and WH64 duo wireless headsets

DECT + Bluetooth in one headset. Yealink raised the bar with the WH64 wireless headset by incorporating both DECT, and Bluetooth technologies into one headset. No other brand does this, which gives a competitive advantage to Yealink. In short, you get the best of both worlds; Bluetooth connectivity to your mobile devices, and a longer range, more secure DECT connection for computer.

Comfort comes standard: Typically, comfort starts with the weight of a headset, and branches out from there. The WH64 mono weighs just 3.2 ounces, and the duo model weighs 5.3. Those numbers are on the lighter side of headset weight which makes all day wearing not a pain.

The earcups were ergonomically designed for a precise fit, and the ear cushions are made from soft, comfortable memory foam material that conforms to the contour of your ear, and helps to dissipate heat better. Add to that, the headband is padded, and adjustable for a personalized fit, and you have the foundation for a highly comfortable headset.

Excellent sound quality & noise cancellation: The Yealink WH64 comes with a three microphone array for excellent voice pickup, and sound quality. The Acoustic Shield 2.0 technology is designed to remove unwanted sound at a high level. These two features work in harmony to provide you with professional sound to make sure your message is heard loud, clear and consistent.

Long battery life: Enjoy extended talk time and standby time, minimizing the need for frequent charging. And, given this is a dual mode headset, the battery life varies depending on the type of connection used (Bluetooth or DECT). Here’s info on both.

In DECT mode:

  • The mono version provides up to 14 hours of talk and listening time
  • The duo model provides up to 16 hours of talk time, and 17 hours of listening time

In Bluetooth mode:

  • The mono model provides up to 26 hours of talk time, and 41 hours of listening time.
  • The duo model provides up to 32 hours of talk time and up to 48 hours of listening time.

Recharge time is 90 minutes

Easy to use with intuitive controls: The user-friendly interface makes it easy to adjust volume, mute calls, and access other key functions.

If you're looking for a long range headset that can be used with a computer or mobile device, that’s lightweight, has a long life battery, sounds good, and removes noise well, then the WH64 would be worth checking out.

3. Yealink BH71 Pro

Yealink BH71, BH71 Pro, BH71 Workstation and BH71 Workstation Pro

Lightweight and comfortable over-the-ear design: Designed for all-day wear, the BH71 Pro is incredibly lightweight and comfortable weighing only 18 grams which is about the same weight as 3 sheets of paper.

Sound quality & noise cancellation: Advanced noise-canceling technology utilizes AI to minimize background noise and ensure clear calls even in challenging environments. And the Yealink BH71 comes standard with 4 MEMS microphones for professional sound.

4 available configurations: The Yealink BH71 is available is four unique configurations:

  • BH71 for those who need connection to a Bluetooth device
  • BH71 Pro for those who need Bluetooth connectivity, but also connection to a computer
  • BH71 Workstation for those who prefer having a base to cradle and charge the headset, and seamless, simplified device switching between computer, mobile device and desk phone.
  • BH71 Workstation Pro offers everything found in the BH71 Workstation, but adds a USB Adapter and portable case for use on the go.

Unique features: The Workstation, and Workstation Pro models come with a built in speakerphone, a USB hub, touch sensitive display, and an integrated Qi wireless charger. These are features you won’t find anywhere else.

Battery: The BH71 provides up to 10 hours of talk time, and if you’re using the model with the portable charge case, you can get up to a total of 30 hours because the case provides 2 additional battery charges.

Wireless range: The BH71 headset provides up to 100 feet of wireless range, and if using the Workstation model, Yealink states a wireless range up to 250 feet. Either way, you’ll have plenty of range to walk, talk and listen.

4. Shokz Opencomm 2 UC

Shokz Opencomm2 UC

Shokz family of headsets are well known for their sound quality and uniqueness. The Opencomm2 UC takes the portable, on the go headset into the office. Here are some of the useful features found on the Opencomm2 UC that can help you to know more about it.

Unique lightweight design: The Opencomm2 UC is worn behind the neck, and lightly rests on the top of both ears, leaving both fully uncovered allowing you to hear your surroundings. It weighs just 1.2 ounces, or about the same weight as a slice of bread, which means it’s light and comfortable.

Bone conduction technology: The Opencomm2 UC uses bone conduction technology which approaches audio differently. Instead of using sound waves, like traditional ear speakers, it uses transducers, and sound vibrations aimed at bypassing the eardrum. This can help those with hearing loss to hear better.

Excellent sound quality: The Opencomm2 UC gives you the professional sound quality you want and need, and excellent noise cancellation. It comes with a great sounding microphone that features Digital Signal Processing, and Clear Voice Capture technology to help eliminate unwanted background noise.

Loop 110 USB Adapter: This allows you to have a better, more steady and reliable computer connection, and you may experience longer wireless range, and improved voice audio quality over the previous Opencomm model. And because it’s Zoom optimized, you’ll be able to answer and end calls remotely.

Shokz Connect software: Whether you use Mac or Windows operating system, Shokz has a Connect software download to keep your Opencomm2 UC headset updated with the latest firmware releases. This keeps your headset operating with the most up-to-date features and fixes, and gives you peace of mind.

So if wearing a traditional headset just isn’t cutting it, why not consider the Shokz Opencomm2 UC? Its unique behind the head wearing style, bone conduction technology, excellent microphone and lightweight design should help entice you to give the Opencomm2 UC some consideration.

5. Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex

Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex wireless foldable portable headset

Jabra is no stranger to the headset realm, and the Evolve2 65 Flex is one model in their line that stands out. It offers some unique features that can be found below.

Foldable design: Whether you work in an office, or on the go, or both, the Evolve2 65 Flex is configured to make using it easy wherever you work. Its foldable design reduces its footprint by 50% which makes it easier to pack away and transport. This is important because there’s not always an excessive amount of available space when moving between work sites.

Comfort reins supreme: Jabra applied air comfort technology to the Evolve2 65 Flex. Layers of perforated foam inside the headband, contouring memory foam earpads, a lightweight frame all contribute to the overall comfort of the Evolve2 65 Flex. And, it only weighs 4.8 ounces which is good news for anyone who needs to wear a headset all day.

Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation: Noise in our work environment can be very distracting, and can impede progress on our business calls. When you get distracted, you lose your focus. Fortunately, the Evolve2 65 Flex comes with Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation which puts you in control of the noise around you. Turn it on when you want to stay in the concentration zone.

HearThrough is standard: When you wear a headset, and you work around other people, you’ll get interrupted from time to time. When you do, you’ll probably find yourself removing the headset throughout the day in order to have a face to face conversation. HearThrough, a feature that comes with the Evolve2 65 Flex, allows you to have that conversation, but without the need to remove the headset. Less frustration, and a better rhythm to your day.

Sound quality: Part of the Jabra Evolve2 series, the Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex comes with 6 MEMS noise canceling microphones for professional sound thanks to Jabra’s ClearVoice technology. The microphone mutes when raised, and unmutes when lowered. When the microphone isn’t needed, such as times when listening to media, the microphone boom stores inside the earpiece for a boomless look. It’s like having a business headset and headphones all in one.

Choosing the Right Headset:
