However, something to keep in mind is range estimates are normally done in an open field, or line of sight test. This means that there are no obstructions for the wireless signal to contend with because there aren’t any obstructions between the wireless headset base and the headset top.
In a real office environment, you have lots of obstacles such as walls, windows, people, desks, elevators and the list goes on. This reduces the strength of the wireless signal and as a result, reduces the wireless range.
