We wanted to answer the question once and for all which headset has the best noise canceling microphone and sound quality. Is it the Poly Voyager Focus 2, perhaps the Jabra Evolve2 75, the Orosound Tilde Pro, or Airpods? Well, we created a completely blind headset with mic testing website and had all of you cast your votes giving us the information we were looking for.
We compared the top 28 headsets with microphones, with expert insights from our headset advisor guide and comparisons across brands like:

We recorded my voice on every wired headset with mic on the same computer, in the same exact spot, with a separate computer playing the speaker audio at the same location and volume for every test.
Each recording had to be exactly identical, which made the process more difficult than it seems. We documented the process in detail with help from a headset performance expert, for every noise category like:
- Office noises
- Dogs barking
- Kids playing
- Wind noise
- And even in a quiet environment to test sound quality.
Then we trimmed each clip to be exactly the same length, assigned them a random variable name to disguise each of the headsets, then we invited you all to vote.

You could vote as little or as many times you wanted but most people voted about 5-10 times and we received over 7,000 votes giving us plenty of data to get statistically significant results. Not sure you can find this kind of information anywhere on the internet.
